About Our Fundraising:
The Glen Ellyn Junior Woman’s Club is a service and philanthropic organization since 1948. Our members consist of women dedicated to improving the community in which we live and assisting those in need, including the Philip Rock Center, DuPage Senior Center, Teen Parent Connection, and DuPage PADS. Activities/fundraisers include: Christmas Family Adoption Program, Jolly Grams (letters sent from Santa), Fleece Blankets for ill children, juried arts, flower bed planting and flower and bake sales.
All our members work throughout the year to raise money to support our philanthropic activities. Key fundraisers include:
Jolly Grams during the Holiday Season: Arctic Circle special holiday keepsakes -- A personalized letter mailed directly to children from the 's most prominent and jolly citizen!Parents/friends/family members purchase these sale.
Annual Flower in the Spring: We partner with Shady Hill Gardens, and deliver high quality flowers/herb planters to our patrons at very reasonable prices!
Glen Ellyn Bake Sales at the Farmers Market: Members contribute their time and efforts in preparing scrumptious baked goods, and help raise money at the Glen Ellyn Farmers Market to support our cause.
